‘I joined DADREG in 2015 as a Researcher when they were conducting a need assessment survey for people working in the dump site. I was passionate about working for the community but lacked a starting point. Before then oi worked in a research firm and felt that what I was doing was not fulfilling my desire for working in and with community members. Today I live my dream all thanks to DADREG.

DADREG has transformed my life from a white color employee to a community servant and so I am proud. I live a life that is so fulfilling that I pray that God will give me a longer life to continue serving the community through DADREG. One thing that I know for sure is that DADREG reached out t the community that stood a good chance to be assisted by especially the government but no one ever did it apart from DADREG. The organization workers are so selfless that they have changed my life.

I also did my industrial attachment in DADREG in Mid last year and gained so much experience in dealing with community members who were so poor and needy. i managed to finish my degree using some wages I was paid when I did an assignment for DADREG in early 2015. Today I can plait hair or train community members because I polished this skill in DADREG as I monitored their beneficiaries. I have had an opportunity to practice what i Iearnt in school especially M&E and general knowledge in community development and also what I’m passionate about through the opportunity which DADREG has given to me and so I say LONG LIVE DADREG”

Peter Kazungu- Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

For the past few years since I joined Dadreg  it has built both my career and social life, in areas on how to transform the life’s of women, children and youth who live in total poverty and have only the dumpsite a place they call a home and toil for daily bread.

Through research which I have played a key role and expose me to interact which the cosmopolitan community Dadreg has been  like a backbone for many especially the school going children by helping  them access quality education for a brighter  future.

Driven by their goodwill in the society Dadreg has welcomed many of my like who have contributed our skill and knowledge by providing a good environment to work and better learning. Also it has built my confidence in both field work and administration to even work in any environment for the sake of humanity.
